The seven members of the Board of Education have been elected to four-year terms of office. Elections are held annually in May. The terms of the offices are staggered so that no more than two board positions expire in the same year.
The Davison Board of Education operates the largest business in the area, with a budget totalling nearly $45 million. It oversees approximately 700 full- and part-time employees, plans programs and curriculum for about 5,500 students and manages facilities valued at more than $50 million.
