It has been two years since voters approved a $71.39 million bond to focus on safety and security, new instructional technology, renovations and build a performing arts center. Two days after the vote, the state of Michigan - as well as most of the country - came to a screeching halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the bleakness of the time, there was a bright spot as crews quietly continued to work on the bond projects.
