“Ron brings a wealth of experience with him,” Superintendent Kevin Brown said. “He was a classroom teacher for seven years and has spent the last 12 years of his educational career in school administration. Ron is student-centered and believes in the District’s “kids first” mission. He is very knowledgeable in the areas of curriculum, instruction and assessment and has experience leading a high school having been the principal at Adrian for the past two years. We are excited to welcome Ron to DHS.”

The Davison Community Schools’ Traveling Library Bus is stocked with books and ready to roll to a stop in a neighborhood near you this summer! Any child or DCS student who comes to the bus can pick out a book or return a book and take another one. We are also accepting gently used book donations to help keep our bus stocked with reading materials to keep students busy reading all summer long!
Davison Community Schools provides all needed supplies to students. However, we know that parents and students enjoy going shopping as soon as the stores begin stocking the back to school supplies in their aisles! There is just something about a brand new pad of notebook paper, colorful highlighters and a smooth writing pen to inspire us as we prepare for a new school year! So, our DCS staff members have put together a list of suggested items. Just click on the headline to learn more.
