    DTV Station Manger

    Sandy Coots moved to Davison in 1988.  She earned a B.A. in Communications from Oakland University.

    Sandy is the DTV Station Manager responsible for sponsorships, special projects and other administrative duties.  She started at Davison Community Schools in August of 2000 when the district decided to fully develop Channel 99 (the education channel on Charter Communications in Davison). 

    Currently, she also freelances as a Producer/Writer at WXYZ-TV (Detroit).  She previously worked at WJRT-TV, WNEM-TV and WFUM-TV (all in Flint).  She is excited and proud of the progress DTV has made and continues efforts to move the station forward.

    Randy Scott

    DTV Production Manager & Video Journalism Instructor

    Randy Scott was born and raised in Flint, Michigan.  He graduated from Flint Central in 1994 and earned a B.A in Broadcasting from Grand Valley State University.

    Scott joined DTV in 2002 as a technician.  In 2004, he took over full teaching responsibilities at DTV.  In 2007, Scott became a certified teacher with the State of Michigan allowing him to continue teaching and working with DTV students. It is his drive and motivation that pushes students and helps them grow.

    Scott worked as a photographer at WXYZ-TV (Detroit) and as Chief Photographer at WEYI-TV (Flint).
