    If you have a change in family status such as marriage, divorce, birth or adoption, please contact Kathy Morris in the Personnel Office within 30 days of the event to make the change on your insurance policies!

    The two plans available to Davison Schools employees are Choices II and ABC Plan 1.  You can access your current personal health insurance information on the MESSA website and MUCH more.  Go to www.messa.org and click on "register now" on the right side of the page.  You can get answers to your questions, find participating providers, get info from the health experts at Mayo Clinic and even order additional insurance cards!

    MESSA NurseLine is a 24/7 information line for medical questions and concerns.  MESSA members can call 800-414-2014 24 hours a day/7 days a week to speak to a Registered Nurse.

    DENTAL INSURANCE (MetLife) Visit www.metlife.com/mybenefit and register to take advantage of self-service capabilities such as checking the status of your claims or viewing your explanation of benefits statements.  You can also dowload an app to view your dental insurance information on your mobile device.  Customer Service:  800-942-0854.

    Check out the NVA website for participating providers and vision benefit information - www.e-nva.com.  Use 51718000101 for the group number or the number that is on your ID card.

    When you are enrolled in ABC Plan 1 high deductible health plan an HSA will be opened on your behalf.  You can manage your account, view balances, claims and payment history by activating your member portal at www.myhealthequity.com.

    To see your BASIC flexible spending account activity and balances, log in at www.benefitspaymentsystem.com.  Click on "account access" on the top right of the screen to create your login account.  There is a tipsheet with instructions for using this employee portal at the bottom of this webpage titled BASIC Flex Debit Card Guide. 

    Only the LIMITED PURPOSE FLEX account can be used in conjunction with an HSA.

    Life and long-term disability insurance is through National Insurance Services effective December 1, 2013.  The toll-free phone number is 800-627-3660.

    All Davison Community Schools' employees are eligible to participate in the District's 403(b) Tax Savings Annuity plan.  The plan allows employees to voluntarily deduct a portion of his/her pay and have the funds deposited into a retirement account that the employee sets up with an approved vendor.  Amounts deposited into this account and any earnings on those deposits are generally not taxed until the employee makes a withdrawal from his/her account following separation from employment with the District.  The District maintains a list of approved vendors and approved sales agents for each vendor.  If you are interested in participating in this program, please contact Director of Business Services Leslie Young or Payroll Specialist Sue Seymour.
