As part of our celebration of March Reading Month, we will feature a different teacher each day and their favorite book.  Today’s teacher is Mr Clegg.  His favorite book is The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom.  It was very engrossing and has had a lasting impact on him.

Winner Winner!  These two students had their "I finished a book" circle drawn. Come down to the office to select your treat!

    -Brooke Thomas

Remember, every time you finish a book this month to fill out a circle.  The circles can be found with your English teacher

Anime Club will not meet this week due to Parent-Teacher Conferences.

Do you have books you've read and no longer need?  Or, do you have an interest in reading books other middle school students have enjoyed?  Consider participating in the book swap located at a table outside of the main office. Bring in middle school age-appropriate books to swap for another donated title that interests you.

On Wednesday, in the cafeteria,  the golden ticket buckets will again be available to receive your golden tickets. So what do you do? Make sure your name and the name of the staff member that gave it to you is on the ticket. Then when you are at lunch, drop it into the golden ticket bucket for your lunch period.  Tickets will be drawn weekly! Students will have the opportunity to win treats! So turn in those tickets!

Attention 8th graders going on the Washington D.C. trip.  There is an important meeting this Wednesday, 6:30 PM at Davison High School’s Auditorium for everyone going on the trip.  It’s very important that you attend this meeting. Besides going over trip rules and packing tips, you will be requesting your roommates.  If you have any questions or cannot attend the meeting please see Ms. Green in room 210.

Baseball/Softball tryouts have been changed.  They are now scheduled to begin on March 23rd.  Sign-ups will be held during all 3 lunches on Thursday, March 12th, and Friday, March 13th.
