November 22, 2024
In this week's Chirp Sheet, we share the awesome news that our K-4 and 1-4 grade elementary schools, in addition to Hahn Intermediate and Davison Middle School, have been recognized by U.S. News and World Report among the "Best" public schools in the country for 2025.You can also meet our November Students of the Month at Davison High School and Davison Alternative Education and check in on the Davison Middle School art classes where students recently completed paper mache projects. Find out where DAE art students recently took a field trip and we think you will take the bait and read about what the members of the newly formed Fishing Club at Davison High School are doing. We will also check in with the Environmental Club and the "treemendous" effort its members recently put forth and get a rundown on the upcoming playoffs from ESports Coach Jake Balla. You will want to turn the page to discover what event book lovers at Davison High School have to look forward to in the upcoming weeks and join us in singing the praises of the nine vocal music students selected to participate in and compete at Regional state choir. And wait until you find out how many pairs of socks our students collected during Socktober events - it will knock your socks off! Good luck to our lady swimmers at states this weekend - it's the largest team Davison has sent and the first time for a relay team to compete since the 1990s. Last but not least, be sure to enjoy the pictures in our video highlighting the 2024 Fall Intersession.

October 25, 2024
Now that the website is finished, we are back on track with our Friday Chirp Sheet publication. And just because we had to take a short break to get the website launched, there were still some pretty awesome things going on in our buildings and throughout the district. We've tried to catch up as much as we could in today's edition but we had to save some of it for next time or we'd end up with a 50-page publication (and while that's a good thing!, it's a bit cumbersome to read!). As always, if you have an idea for a story or an opportunity for me to get some cool pictures, please let me know!

October 4, 2024
