Nature Based Preschool
Cardinal Forest Friends: Rooted in Nature, Ready to Fly
Give your 4-year-old a classroom without walls! Our nature-based preschool program nurtures your child's natural curiosity through outdoor exploration and discovery.
- Learning in Every Season: We embrace the Michigan outdoors year round, using nature as our primary classroom for hands-on play and exploration.
- Weekly Nature Trips: Students visit the Williams Nature Center every week for immersive nature-based learning experiences.
- Two Convenient Locations: Cardinal Forest Friends is hosted at both Central GSRP and Cardinal's Nest programs.
- Flexible Enrollment: This unique program is available through both our free GSRP (state-funded) and tuition-based (Cardinal's Nest) pathways.
- Holistic Growth: We focus on building a strong foundation for school by fostering wonder, independence and a deep connection to the environment.
