Cool to Care fundraiser officially begins
Michelle Edwards

We have officially kicked off our annual Cool to Care fundraiser where all money collected will benefit Outreach East. The District works very closely with Outreach throughout the school year to assist students and their families who sometimes need a little extra help.

There is a fundraising goal set for each school building.  So as not to burden our students and families, we hope to raise this money by offering low-cost opportunities so everyone can participate and feel good about doing their part. At the K-6th grade level, "We Give Wednesdays" are planned where students will pay $1 (or any amount they are able) to participate in a special spirit day. This Wednesday, for example, is "warm your heart and wear flannel." See flyer below for more info.

At the middle school level, for a donation of $3, students can unlock their devices for part of the school day on Wednesday. At the high school level, students will be able to have their picture taken with Santa and one of his elves for a $1 donation on Thursday, December 18. Other activities will be planned as well.

New this year, we will also be accepting online donations. You can choose which school building your donation should be credited to in order to help students and staff make their goal. The online donation site is located here: https://payments.efundsforschools.com/fundraising/districts/56436

Thank you for your support!
